Made of gilded bronze and adorned with the initials A.G. in 18-carat gold on the case, this 50.5 mm gilded bronze coin, engraved by Eugène-André Oudiné, features an obverse depicting a seated Virgin and Child, accompanied by Joseph and a woman draped in the antique style. The reverse bears a dedication "LA SINCERITY À M. AUQUIER G. 1905" by H. Dubois, surrounded by a laurel wreath.

Henri Alfred Auguste Dubois was awarded the second Grand Prix de Rome in medal engraving and fine stone in 1878). Named Knight of the National Order of the Legion of Honor in 1905. He was a French medalist and sculptor, born in Rome on August 21, 1859, and died in December 1943. He was the son of Alphée Dubois, a painter, stamp designer and medalist. Period of Activity, 1894.
